West Bend Swim Club - About

The West Bend Swim Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing children to the sport of swimming.  Our goal is to help young athletes achieve their goals whether they compete at a local, state, or regional level, or to simply aim to improve their swimming ability and enjoy a team atmosphere.

The swim club is affiliated with Wisconsin Swimming and USA Swimming for age group swimming.  The club has been existence for over 40 years, with many high school and collegiate swimmers having gone through our program.   A group of parent volunteers, who comprise of the board of directors, operate the club along with the coaches.

Our experienced coaching staff helps swimmers to perfect their skills in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.

Our Ribbon groups are designed for several levels of beginning swimmers.

The Ribbon 1 group perfects the freestyle and backstroke and teaches the turns and starts to perform them in competition.

The Ribbon 2 group works to build endurance in freestyle and backstroke and perfects the breaststroke.

The Ribbon 3 group continues to build swimmer strength and teaches the butterfly.

The Intermediate group is directed to swimmers who have mastered all four strokes, but are still building speed and endurance along with improving technique.

The Junior and Senior groups are for experienced swimmers who are refining techniques and building endurance for competition.
